How do I get tree sap off a "Easy Set Pool"?

It's the kind of pool where the liner is supported by an inflatable ring. The ring has tree sap all over it and I can't get it off. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

  1. Try using baby oil, or WD-40. Anything that is oil based.


  2. WD 40?  Paint thinner on a cloth?
