How do I get unused stamps off an envelope without tearing them?

Cut around the stamp then tape it to the other envelope.

plug in your kettle and apply a little bit of steam, it will peel off easily within seconds.  Be careful that you don't burn your fingers, steam is hot hot hot.  Don't cut around it and tape it to another envelope, the post office does not like that.  They want you to buy another stamp!!  Use my method and a glue stick to reapply, no one will ever know.  I do it all the time.

Take the envelope to the Post Office and they will replace the unused stamp.
