How do I get video's from a DVD disk onto my 8GB iPod Nano?

I have a dvd on disk that i want .. and also I wanted to know...how many half hour shows or 2 and a bit movies on an 8GB iPod Nano.

iPod accepts only MP4 format video, you need third party software to convert dvd to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert dvd to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

Then just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

umm,..about 30 movies you can put on.

iPod accepts only MP4 videos,you need a third party software to rip ur DVDs to MP4 videos.

Er, you should convert the video files to iPod format, iPod just accepts MPEG4 format, I think you can try wondershare dvd to ipod ripper to help you , my friend recommend, it works quite well.
