How do I get white cat hair off pool table felt?

there should be a brush sold at a billiards store that should do it for ya, or try a lint roller in a small area first to make sure it won't ruin the felt.    but when ur not using it put a sheet or something over it

Good call Johnny.  I'd really like to know where the whole "felt" thing originated from as well.  Felt is a fabric made from compressed fibers and has never, ever been used on any type of billiards table.  Cloth is a woven fabric.  That's a pet peeve of mine as well.  As for the answer to the question, I have to agree with the lint roller.  Brush it down first, and then go over it with the lint roller.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

go to wal mart and buy lint lifter on a roller like the ones you buy for your cloths  it picks up hair ,cat hair dog hair too just roll it a cross the table  were the cat hair is  do this till the cat hair is off your pool table .hopes this helps

Use cloth it comes off better --just picking but why do people call it felt???

One of the rolling lint removers you can get at walmart or the grocery store is the easiest way, you just roll over and toss the soiled sheets as needed.  If you don't have a roller, you can use a piece of duct tape wrapped around your palm.

I use a damp towel.  Start midway on the table and pull back towards you.  This technique will also clean any excess chalk off the table.  Just make sure your towel isn't too wet.

I would use a (in England) `Felt Brush`. They are normally red and rectangular. You pick up hairs by brushing in one direction. To remove hairs simply brush something in the reverse direction.
