  1. what is the name of laptop card? what operating system?  Ive not heard of a boost port, unless you mean readyboost that comes with vista or a serial port booster.

  2. WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, WE HAD TO GO TO STAPLES AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE WHO KNEW WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT.  IF YOU TAKE YOUR LAP TOP WITH YOU THEY WILL BE ABLE TO HELP. WE DID NOT BUY THE LAPTOP FROM THEM EITHER  BUT THEY STILL HELPED US.

  3. You probably need to set up either the modem or router to be wireless. But you also need something on the laptop. For example, a USB wireless dongle to be able to recieve the wireless signal

  4. Do you have a wireless router nearby? if not, you wont be able to connect. if you havent already, make sure the wireless switch is turned on if you have it and check your wireless options (theres a symbol with 2 computers and wither a globe or a "X" if you're on vista) you have to enter a few codes depending on wether or not the network you;re trying to connect to is secure

  5. You need to buy a router which you attach to the modem and turn on the wireless card on your laptop. If you have the Bt home hub its already got the router built-in
