Question:

How do I give my beardie a bath.. Or do they really need one?

  1. they'll give themselves a bath you just have to have the water in there for them...but you can buy a spray thats good for their skin...


  2. Get a shallow dish and put warm water in it and let him bask, you don't have to bathe them but it does help to hydrate them, and most prolly like it.

  3. i use a tote lid and just put them in it. it's not to deep that way. a friend of mine has a shower stall, she lets the shower run and he just hangs out till he's done, then just crawls out. i also put a bowl (that they can't tip and one can fit in) into their tank, they usually don't use it but i just put them in, sometimes they hang out in it sometimes not. they probably won't care for it at first. warm water really helps them when they are shedding. softens the skin and makes it easier for them. they are desert creatures so they don't really need the humidity.

  4. Just spraying would suffice......but some just love a swim!

    A friend runs an inch or two in their bath and lets his beardie swim up and down for a bit...he loves it, and swims like a crocodile!
