You can get a form here to apply for the public ballot, where the majority of Centre, No1 Court and No2 Court tickets are sold.  You're not guaranteed to get a ticket though cause too many people apply for the ballot every year :-(

You can also queue at the grounds on the day for tickets.

You don,t. You actually have to go to the tournament then get up really early in the morning and wait in line with all the other people of different nations on the morning of the day of play to get in. I,m not sure of the cost for a day pass, check the wimbledon website for this years prices but they may not be applicable next year. The good thing about the day pass is you can get the match line up for the day and watch whatever match you want from centre court to court 32 depending on seat availability.
