Question:

How do I go about filing a grievance with the VA health system?

I've been neglected numerous times by my local Veterans Administration Health care system. Doctor's prescribing wrong medications... Doctor's threatening me...

I've spoken to the patient reps. before and nothing happened. I spoke to the Head Director of my VA clinic and nothing happened. I'm looking to take it to a higher authority. Whom should I start with? My congressman? My Senator?

Please help as I am in a bind here. My health is in jeopardy along with my civil liberties.

  1. Get a lawyer...quick.

  2. Get in touch with your congressman., and don't try to impress anybody about your civil liberties being violated.

  3. Yes, contact your congressman.  Except, ignore TedEx's second response, it seems he doesn't understand the meaning of civil liberties and/or has never experienced medical negligence.  It's your right and duty to speak out.  Give the VA h**l, they're horrible from what I hear.

P.S.  And thank you for your service.
