  1. frigg, do you have your e-birth paper? because you will need it since you have never applied for an id card.

and you may want to familiarize your self with the people living on d street that you going and give as your address. they sometimes ask you d neighbours name just to ensure that you actually living in the area that you say.

you carry your Birthpaper,  and identification.

now if the name on your birthpaper different from that on your other identification then you also need an affidavit...dat is only TT $2.50. or a Deed Poll.

and oohhh, you may need to carry copies of all them thing - id, birthpaper etc.

go in d office, answer their questions, they will take your pic, fill out d card, get your height etc, and give you a little receipt thing, you have to keep that, cause you have to give them it when you go to collect the id card.  it takes about 6 weeks!

  3. just go dong Charlotte Road and ask dem Guyanese. After yuh get one apply for a HDC house one time.

    Total time 3 months.

Up next how to score Govt. contracts

  4. It takes about 4-6 weeks...

I don't knwo if you can apply for it while you are in the U.S

Next time you visit, go to the Local Office (depending on which area you were from, eg Arima) and fill out the form. They will measure you and take a passport sized photo and give you a slip/receit. More importantly they will ask for an address at which you stay and are supposed to verify this address at their own will before they issue the card (but they never really do this lol)

You will get a repsonse via mail when to come in and to collect the card.
