How do I go about getting a band sponsored or endorsed by a product?

I'm starting a band and we want to get sponsored so we can go on tour and all that good stuff. Obviously you would have to contact that company but what would i say? Also do any of you have any suggestions as far as companies go (who i should get sponsored by)

Try heading on over to Coca Jeans USA http://www.cocoajeansusa.com

They have all kinds of things they do with people.. Maybe see if they will give you a pair of jeans to have on when on stage or something?
