the first thing u should realize is that owning monkeys is either wrong or illegal (depending on where u live). keeping a monkey in a cage or house all its life is just wrong when it could be in the wild or at least a zoo.  just realize that if u go through with getting the monkey u should realize what u are doing to it

Monkeys and other primates do NOT make good pets.  They are very difficult to care for, and are very  messy in captivity.  It is against the law to privately own a monkey in the USA as far as I know.  

When a primate, any primate, reaches maturity they WILL turn on their owners and can cause a great deal of damage to life and limb, and then they're even harder to take care of.

They need a "great deal" of room in their cage and this alone creates quite a lot of difficulty.

All primates belong in the wild where nature intended them to be and where they can fullfill their rolls in the environment.
