Where do I go, and who do I talk to?

I do have an outstanding bill of about 200.00 I owe to a phone company. I plan on paying this off within two weeks.

How easy or hard is it to obtain one of these loans?

  1. Find a local mortgage company to look at your current situation

    Good luck

I am a mortgage banker in TN & KY

  2. Go to fha.gov and read.

  3. well first of all they want you to have job security which means being on your job for more than 2 or 3yrs.next your credit has to be descent not spectacular but ok 600and up.they no collection accounts on you credit report..other than that it's quite easy.just contact any real estate company coldwell bank,ect... and speak with a realtor they will then help you from there...good luck

  4. Start with any mortgage lender.  If they can't process the paperwork then they can tell you where to go.  Usually there is a housing office in the area, though.

  5. Call FHA and they will tell you what you need. Pay your phone bill. It still will come up as late on your credit report, but it shouldn't stop you from getting the loan.
