I am an 11B. I spent 15 months in Iraq as working as a 35F. I performed all of my taskings as a 35F. I can not get a straight answer as to who I need to talk to and what I need to do to get this attached to my ERB. Thanks for the help

  1. You won't be awarded that MOS unless you attend the formal AIT for it. On the job work will not count because you didn't have an instructor from the school supervising your work, and you have to have the certificate verifying you went to training to get it put on your ERB...

  2. ask your sgt, i really dont know if you can make it an officiall secondary mos - unless you reclass for it. BUT i could be wrong, best bet is to talk to your unit someone should know

  3. You will not get credit for this. Lots of people deploy and end up doing things other than what their MOS calls for.

  4. You need to attended the transition coarse they haven't done the OJT since the 80's

  5. Back when I as active it was your XO you would turn too for answers like this.

Otherwise, Find out who is in charge of recruitment in your battalion, they should be able to help.
