I've made some mistakes in the past and I had absolutely no history in the past as it is. So, how do I go about salvaging bad credit and getting a chance to make my credit history decent?

  1. Click the link below so you can establish new credit.  On the right of the window, there's a link called "CreditProvide - Over 50 Unsecured Credit Card Providers. Bad Credit & Bankruptcy Welcome. Click Here. "

This will help you to establish some good credit.  You must pay your cards on time each month for the next 6 to 12 months.  Also, dispute everything on your credit.  Do it over and over again until it comes off.  This is how my husband cleared his credit.  If they do not respond within 30 days, it is automatically taken from your credit.  He also made a deal with the collectors to pay half off of the items that did not come off.

  2. I agree.  Try getting a secured card.

USBank and National City both have good secured cards (als check Washington Mutual and Bank of America).

After approx 12 months of good history, USBank will convert your secured card into an UNsecured card.  I believe it is $300 minimum deposit to start, but that is a small investment on your future.

  3. Try getting a secured credit card (the ones where you load the money onto).

  4. The most common mistake people make is that they apply for credit cards that require very good credit history. Ofcourse you'll get rejected. After doing some research, i found the following site that has some cards designed just for people in your situation. Check out the card from orchard bank at the bottom of the site. You could also apply for a secured credit card. See if this helps you.

  5. Get into a Credit Union and get a credit card after a couple months and a personal loan after that.

The amounts are important, but the current debt vs the total debt you could take is also important.  Also the variety of debt (that is why the personal loan and the credit card).

There is not fast track if you keep paying everything just fine it will get better.

  6. secure or capital one. They have both at http:://www.gozeropercent.com
