Like the answerer before me said, the spelling is more than likely wrong, and you mean O'Rourke. Unfortunately that is a realy common surname in Ireland, you are going to have to get more info before you even begin to think of going researching your family tree

you will have big trouble finding them, with the mis-spelling.. there are a few variants on the name but the most common are..

O'Rourke

I have never seen it spelled the way you have it .. so make sure you have it correct, because if will be near impossible if the spelling is wrong..

you will also need to find out the family's history yourself as far back as you can ( grandparents or parents -their full names/ mothers maiden name and where they were born, and when they emigrated)
