How do I go about mailing a package through Insured Parcel Post?

Do I have to go the post office or can i do it through their website?

you can print out a shipping label on the usps website and arrange for it to be picked up or take it to the post office yourself. you can also do it at the post office, you would have to fill out an insured mail form and take it to the window, the clerk will do the rest.

It's really easy. Go to www.usps.com  Click on ship a package and then go from there. It will give you the option for insurance. You will need to have the weight and measurements of the box as well as a credit card for billing. Then you'll print you label, you may order a pick-up for free and you are all done.
