How do I go about removing the answering service from my home phone (uk)??

Hi, as you use the term "answering service" I am guessing this is a service provided by your line supplier (BT or other) to remove this you will need to call sale if BT that 0800 800 150. If its another provider then the number will be on the back of a bill sent to you.

Remember that when removing this service you will loose all messages held.

Call the company that provides your phone service... if it's their answer service, you should be able to ask them to remove it. Mine told me they could do that for me, & I'm with a cable company, so you should be able to do the same with yours.

My phone has a button for answer on, answer off, but if it is through your line provider ring them and cancel

if on land land check you are not paying for the service, if so call the appropriate provider ie. cable, bt ect.

if shop bought phone with answering service please refer to users manual.
