Im looking to rent a villa or condo in the San Juan area of Puerto Rico. Has anyone ever rented from Homeaway.com??

They have pretty good deals, way better than hotels. But just wanted to know if anyone has used that website or other ways to rent a villa or condo for a week.

Thanks!

  1. Try these links:

    http://puertorico.en.craigslist.org/vac/

  2. Try the clasified  ads  on the local newspaper..

    www.primerahora.com

    www.endi.com

    also craig list

  3. okay the cheapest way to travel (take it from me i travel A LOT) is to go through the web site i am pasting at the bottom of this. its discounted packages and on top of that u can have open credit through the company with 0% interest. so if you want to go on a trip next week but havent saved the money, they give you the 2k or whatever amount in advance AND then you pay it off at your own convience at 0% interest. i know it sounds too good to be true but i do it all of the time. their rates are better then everyone elses too. actually i like the company so much i bought into it. its up and coming, but very legit. i think its going to be the next big thing, especially the way the economy is. here is the site. check it out! i hope you have a great time on your trip!

ps- if u want to buy into the company its only a 50.00 buy in and then you get paid monthly. its like a residual thing. theres also a monthly fee of either 20 or 50 but it pays off. you get it back. plus more.

  4. I have a vacation rental and that is one of the "big" sites for advertising.

    Along with VRBO.com, Cyberrentals.com and VRconnection.com.

I would be a little more wary of Craig's list, but you can get good, legitimate deals there.

For any rental you do, make sure you talk with the owners, get a written contract, and pay with a credit card (in case there is a dispute).

  5. I have never used that one but you can check this one, I use it frequently vrbo.com.

  6. Check www.cariblot.com
