  1. Here's a free site that submits to many top places:

    More are listed here:

  2. Ideally you simply have an authority website link to you and let the web crawlers naturally index your site....  I recommend that an experienced SEO (search marketer) review your site and such before you do to make sure your site is crawlable and has good structure for indexing.

    Of course you also should know that just submitting will have minimal impact on your sites position.  You will need to make sure you acquire inbound linkages from authority websites on a regular basis to rate well.

    If you must do it artificially, you can submit to the engines using these links...  The "local" submissions are a MUST do.

    Google

    http://www.google.com/addurl/

    Yahoo!

    http://www.google.com/addurl/

    Live.com

    Also... since you are a geographic business, you should submit to

    Google Local

    https://www.google.com/local/add/login

    Yahoo! Local

    Here is our pre-submit checklist for any site... just FYI

        *  Full Broken Link Scan

        * Site Tag Review

        * Site Content Review

        * Site Inner Links Anchor Text Review

        * Site CSS review

        * Spam Quick Check

        * Address Verification / Phone

        * Info USA Information Check

        * True Local Listing ($5/month - a steal)

        * Google Local Listing Check and Update

        * Yahoo Local Listing Check and Update

        * DMOZ update

        * Chamber of Commerce Directories

        * Business Resource Directories

        * Yahoo! Listings Check

  3. You can simply go to the websites and submit them. look for a webmasters link.

    I also have a free program that does this for you using a more technical method of submitting to the most popular search engines and then you will automatically be submitted in the rest.

    I do suggest you manually submit to google because they can tell when software submits the site, but I usually manually do it for my users anyway.
