How do I go about telling my parents?

I just turned 18, and I am engaged to a wonderful man who just turned 19. I am moving out with him shortly. We have been trying to have a baby, and I just might be pregnant now. I'm taking a test next week. How do I go about telling my parents that I might be pregnant? Or about how I am going to be getting married in February? Please help...

if they get mad, or whatever then that's fine. it's your life and sounds like you know what you want and you are going on straight forward with it and your goals. good luck and remember your an adult now, so it's your life and enjoy it.

juss sit wit em and tell them straight up that u are engaged. and a lil later tell them  that u may or is pregnant

If I were you I would just sit down with them and tell them everything. Tell them that you know this guy is the one and that you two might be having a baby together. I mean your 18 years old my cousin was 14 her boyfriend was 13 when they had a baby together. Then when she was 16 and he was 15 they got married. And they have been married for over 10 years now. So you know young marriages can last. I hear from lots of people that people that get married young end up getting a divorce but thats not true. I mean my brother was 20 and he has been married 6 or 7 years now. So make sure you tell them that, you guys will make it (not saying you won't, because you never know) but in the end I think they will be proud of you. Good Luck!

I would wait to share any baby news until you are certain you are pregnant.  Like passing an at home test as well as having a physical done by a doctor.  You are an adult now so sharing your happy news about being engaged is something you just have to do.  Bring your man along and say that you love each other and can't wait to spend the rest of your lives together.  Be aware that they might get upset but really can't do much to change the situation.  Let them share their feelings about everything and give them time to adjust.  Congrats on the engagement and hopefully the baby too!

I personally would say your engaged ,

then at the same time tell them you're moving in together .

Then a bit later say after or just a bit before the wedding tell them about you being pregnant .

Then you can choose if you want to tell them that you were pregnant before you got married , or just let them do the math themselves .

Sit them down and calmly explain to them what you want to do. Tell them that you are an adult now and you can make your own choices, say it politely though they will take it better.

You just have to be honest with them and tell them hey mom and dad i am engaged and getting married soon and you might become grandparents very soon. then you see how they react.

If you are well committed to this man and he is well committed to you and you know they you two have what it takes to care for a baby then there is no stopping you. Just remember that a baby can be a real big change in your life and it is not as easy as it seems no matter how 'prepared' you may be. You gotta suck it up and take it the hard way and just go forward and tell your parents honestly because the longer you take to tell them the more disappointed they may be. So do it for the best. Whatever you parents and family members reaction is I'm sure they'll understand, respect and support you. If not, it is good that you have your fiance to help and support you through it all because that is what matters the most that there is someone there to guide you thorugh everything and that they baby is protected and safe and has good, hardworking parents to take care of him/her throughout life and make it to the future sucsessfully
