Well, the first poster chose to just enter city names, so you now know how to get from the center of one to the center of the other (driving).  You asked for bus/train options.  Here you go: you can take Greyhound (from Hayward or Oakland) or Amtrak (from Hayward or Oakland - Coliseum or Jack London Square) to Fresno, then take local buses into Clovis.  Attached are bus maps... good luck!
