Question:

How do I go underwater without dying?

How do you keep air out of your nose? Don't say blow out your nose because then you run out of air and die anyway! Also, what happens if you fall in unexpectedly? Even if you don't breath, won't water go up your nose and drown you?

What's the secret to being underwater?

  1. well to keep water out of your nose you have to blow out or you can wear a diving mask.

you could also use a snorkel with the diving mask, but if you want to dive down you have to hold your breath.

    my best advise is PRACTICE!!

until then just stay in the shallow end...or take swimming lessons.

  2. If you don't use some form of breathing apparatus, E.G scuba or snorkel then you will die.

even if water doesn't enter your nose your body will use up the oxygen that you are holding in your lungs  and you will die of asphyxiation

  3. ok.

You won't die if you go underwater and water doesn't go  up your nose.

And  you go underwater and then come back up and then go back down under AND BREATHE THROUGH your nose

  4. plug ur nose

    or use scuba gear??

  5. you just have to hold you breath.

you can't breath underwater and if you fall in unexpetedly theres nothing you can do about water going up your nose.

    idk.

  6. the secret is to not open your mouth. however, you do have to blow out your nose to keep water out. after you blow out, the water doesn't come up your nose and drown you.

i suggest  you stay on the shallow end.

  7. ok first u get sum air den u close ur mouth den u stop breathing den u pinch ur nose den u go underwater den u keep ur mouth cosed nd ur nose pinched nd wen u run outta air gt out da water

  8. plug your nose and take oxygen with you that you can put in your mouth

  9. okay well rule number one....if you just dive in unexpectedly...your given at least 3 seconds of air time..good time to hold your nose...swim up at fast as you can to get your head above it..and if your wanting to con troll your breathing and keeping the air out of your nose i strongly recommend swimming lessons..your NEVER too old i think..they teach you how to keep the air inside you...control your heart rate..and how to keep you calm..when you panic you loose more air..but if that's not your thing...then practice in the tub..at least you con troll that..it will get you used to it a little bit.
