How do I grow a blossom tree?

Question

I live in a warm and wet (humidity, not rain) climate, i am willimg to give it alot of time. i just want the trees with the pink petals and the dark trunk like the one here:

im not interested in fruit or what fruit it is derived from. i only need to know what type of fruit i should start with, how long to dry the pit, how much water per day, etc.
