  1. a general handicap system is usually used.  Kind of like golf.

    A. Player handicap -20 - 0

    B. Player handicap 1-20

    C. Player handicap 21-40

    D. player hadicap 41 -50

The handicap works as a spot, a C player (35) playing a B player (5) would start the game with 30 points on the wire.  The A player (-14) playing a C player (30) would start at 0 while the C player starts at 44.

The first few weeks would be a feeling out of handicaps and adjusting, but the league director needs to pay attention to all the players and gauge the streangth.

    Hopes this helps.

  2. If you get them to play against each other then it's guaranteed they won't play their best so they get a better handicap.  Maybe a ranking that's agreed on by the other players?  If they know each other and know who's better than who then you might be able to come up with something that everyone's had an input on
