  1. i wiggle my finger in front of his face till he gets used to it  and knows your there it works for me and h**l get used to it

  2. Grab it gently from its back.

  3. You normally should give the hamster about a day or two to settle in, as a new home is very stressful for them. For the first two days just sit by the cage and talk to him, letting him get used to your scent and voice. If he approaches you, let him sniff your hand. Don't reach out for him, let him come to you when he feels ready. You need a lot of patience with hamsters. Once he is comfortable enough to come up to you often you can begin to hold him, good luck!

  4. hahah idk...you cant really teach a hamster

  5. You can't just go ahead and try to violate the hamster's space since you just got him. You need to give him time to adjust to his new surroundings. Give him a few days, and slowly put your hand in the cage and let him smell you first. Then let him take a piece of food out of your hand. It's all about building trust with him first. Hamsters aren't humans.. They don't understand that you're just trying to be nice.

  6. it should take awhile if the hamster is just new but you can buty a hamster book at petshops and stuff hope that helps by the way u have a hamster aaawwwwwwwww lucky!!

  7. start by just petting him. if he stays calm and doesn't try to bite you while you pet him, then try picking him up slowly and gently. when you hold him, give him something to chew on so that his mouth is occupied, so he won't want to bite you and he can be comforted.
