  1. you should wait for the seed pods to dry op on the plant... the seeds should look like little black dry discs... and then you plant them.

  2. Lilies are  what is commonly called a 'tuber' - they spread by sending shoots off the original root under ground and making a new sprout. Their extremely hardy, you can dig  up the plant and simply put the root or tuber section in a new location -

  3. Lillies ususally reproduce by bulbs. If there are actually seed you are looking at you could wait till you think they are mature and let them dry on maybe newspaper. They would be then safe to store or germinate.

  4. Tiger lilies will reproduce in several ways, one of the more accomodating lilies.  You can allow the seeds to dry,  and collect the seed pod before it splits open, or falls off.

They also readily produce a ton of bulbils in the leaf axils, up the stems.  These can be left on until they start to sprout tiny roots, and then potted into some gritty soil/peat mix, where they will overwinter, and sprout into growth next year.  These are likely to be faster to flower than seed raised plants.

Alternatively you can divide the bulbs, as they will form smaller offshoot bulbs overt time.  This provides little disturbance if this is done during the dormant period.

Hope this helps.  Good luck!  Rob
