  1. Use the bookmark engine.

    e.g.....del.icio.us

  2. If you wanna to create LAN then go with the wireless technology. There is the best option now of the days. You can create with this technology absolutly wire free network. Buy wireless devices of Linksys, D-Link or Netgear brand. All of this good brand available in the India.

Or you mean for good ISP then go with computers geek answer.

  3. 1)Try to limit length of Ethernet cable longer cable lead to attenuation which leads to lousy signals. There are 2 grades of Ethernet cable if you need longer connections use the higher grade ones

2)Use a switch intead of router Switch do not forward all traffic but router does

3)Run network service that you only need disable unnessary ones

    4)Keep patches up to date

5)Set firewall facing external networks to drop all packets sliently

You may want to enable ICMP traffic only on Internal Network for network troubleshooting

6)Use firewall on all machines encrypt all confidential network traffic

7)Use an IDS (Intrusion Detection System, SNORT is a gd bet)

  4. good networks for what?

  5. well then

install anti virus in all the computers

add a firewall to the router of your network.

then take a good switch for your network

and then keep updating all the client computers for security reasons ...

    that will help you

open only the ports on the router which are needed by the client computers.

and then the last make a domain and a exchange server in your network

soo that all the emails are excesses by that server only

and then give two LANcards for the server one for net and the second one for the local lan..

add a proxy server in the network for the cilents computers to access only the wedpages you have given rights..............

    that's IT

i hope this will help you a lot........................

    i suppose............................

  6. Are you meaning good network hardware like a router or wireless adapter?    If they are not provided by your ISP then I would recommend you purchase D-Link products, they have excellent customer support.

Or are you meaning a good ISP (internet service provider)?  That is something you'd have to check out in your own area, find out what the main companies are, what their rates are, what their signal strengths are, if they have a shared or dedicated connection (dedicated is better even if technically slower).

If you are talking about network in any other context then I'm not sure what you're referring to, sorry.
