How do I have someone call me with skype?

I know how to call someone but how do I have someone call me do I have my own number? My friend does not have skype he is just using his phone. And yes I do have credit.

what do you need credit for? Skype is free... Also, if you want someone to call you on skype they have to be on skype too. good luck to you

You need to purchase an online number from Skype called SkypeIn:

With SkypeIn, you will get a phone number that anyone on landline or cell can call you on your PC.

You can even have calls to that number Forwarded to another landline or cell number when you are not on your PC.

Lets say your family or friends live in another state.  If you purchased a SkypeIN number in the area code they live in, then can make a local call to that number and it will be forwarded to any phone number you set Skype to forward it to.  The forwarded calls will be charged at SkypeOut per/minute rates.
