How do I heal a pulled muscle?

I have cheer camp in about 2 days. Hard core tumbling and choreography for 6 hourz everyday. But i cant move with my muscle holding me back on my hamstring. HELP!!!!

  1. do some stretches and rub some icy hot on the pulled muscle.


  2. Stretch it alot, try putting ice or heat on it, which ever seems to help the best and don't too much until camp... Before your camp exercises put some Tiger Balm or A535 on it, personaly I prefer Tiger Balm which you can get at Wal-Mart... good luck!

  4. I hate to tell you, but cheer camp will have to wait for you. Time and relaxation of the muscle are the only way for it to heal. You can relieve some of the pain with ibuprofen or Tylenol, but I wouldn't recommend going to camp until it heals, which can take from 2 weeks to a month, depending on extent of damage and activity.
