How do I help a friend who is selling himself and using drugs.

Question

I am worried about my friend who at 17 was thrown on the street by his parents when he came out. Since then he has supported himself by escorting and doing website p**n. He acts like its no big deal to him but he has broken down into tears with me because he hates it. He has come to believe that it is all he is good for now. I tell him all the time its what he is inside that matters not what he looks like. The problem is that he became an instant success on the p**n site. Contrary to whatever anybody thinks website p**n stars are paid very little. The scumbags who own the sites pay the stars very little. They filmed him the week he turned 18 and had alcohol and drugs for the stars. Now he uses marijuana regularly. I want to help him but don't know what to do.

Being there for him is really all you can do, until he decides he wants  a different life.

Some one that age cannot see themselves old and wrinkled and burned out.  The body will not always stay that good looking, it is what is inside, and his brain, that you need worry about.  He is lucky to have a friend who cares and is standing by....thank you
