I'd like to have food for sale at my event and wondered how and where do I find the carnival-type food vendors? I'd like to have funnel cakes, cotton candy, hot dogs, etc. for my event guests to purchase.

Call a rental place.  (look up rentals in the phone book.)

They'll probably have the cotten candy, and possible more.  After that... I have no idea.
