How do I hold my breath underwater without my nose hurting?

everytime I dive in the water without holding my nose, my nose stings. I hold my mouth shut but water always goes up my nose. I want to be able to dive into the water without having to use one of my hands to hold my nose shut.

once ur in the water, then use ur nose to blow out, or u could get one of the nose plugger thingies

You could try blowing out your nose when you get close to the water.
