How do I hook this Audiobahn Sub up?

It has 4 inputs on each side. How do i hook this up to an 1200 watt Sony Xplod amp?

  1. That is a dual 4 ohm voice coil subwoofer so it can be wire two ways. If the voice coils are wired in parallel the final impedance will be 2 ohms. If the voice coils are wired in series the final impedance will be 8 ohms. If you amp is 2 ohm stable you should wire them in parallel to get the most out of your system. I posted a link to Rockford fosgates wiring wizard tool. It will show you the different ways a speaker can be wired. The link will make it easy. Wiring option #1 shows a 4ohm dual voice coil woofer wired parallel, that is how you should wire it. Run a wire from one positive to the other positive on the woofer and run a wire from  one negative to the other negative on the woofer. After you have done that chose one set of terminals and hook them to the amp like normal. It is easier to understand by looking at the link.
