Question:

How do I hook up a vcr, a cable box, and the tv using a rf modulator?

The vcr (Ready for digital tv) I have is newer, and it there is nowhere to put a coaxial cable so I bought the RF Modulator.

Basically, please make this easy on me by just telling me what I put in what. An example is this:

On tv, use red, white, and yellow cables (out from tv into vcr) (on vcr, it goes in the in port).

On tv, use coaxial cable (out from tv into cable box) (on cable box, goes in the in port)

, and so on..

Could you please do it in steps?

Thank you so much.

  1. Ok, lets see if  i can break it down in steps.

Step 1:Hook up your cable box's output jack to the vcr's input jack using a set of composite cables(red, white, and yellow)

Step2: Hook the vcr up to the rf modulator using the vcr's output jack and another set of composite cables(red, white, and yellow).

Step3: Using a coaxial cable hook the rf modulator to the tv

Step4: Tune your tv to the appropriate channel, either 3 or 4. set your vcr to the input you hooked up the cable box to, and you should be good to go.
