  1. For the most part I agree with the above answer. One should keep in mind however that a downside of using passive splitters is that each device will receive 50% of the available signal level. This can quickly become an issue. Cosider using an ampilifer or a ( RF TAP ) if your cable is analog. An electronics supply center can supply the correct value tap and the cost is pennies over a splitter. Radio shack will do for the amplifier that should cost about $ 35.00.

This is the easiest thing to do it is however effected by whether or not you have a digital receiver.  So this all occurs prior to the receiver if you have one.  Go to Radio Shack or similar electronics store and purchase a cable splitter and the extra pre-assembled cable you need.  Take your input and attach the splitter make sure its the right way it should say in on one of the prongs.  Then attach the to cable and run them to your TV.  This can be done as many times as you want be purchasing larger splitters.  

    OK now as for the receiver.  If you have a digital receive it will only work on the one TV all the others will run on the basic cable and not receive any digital channels.
