I have a new 32" LCD (westinghouse sk-32h240s) with 2 HDMI's + 1 L/R, ANT, 2 Video/ S-Video in, 2 YPbPr in's,1 D-sub(vga) in, 1 PC audio mini in, 5 audio in (dual RCA), 1 audio out (dual RCA),1 SPDIF optical out. My HTS is a Sony Bravia DAV-HDX265 with 1 TV/Video (audio in R/L), 1 monitor out (S video/video), 1 digital media port, 1 component video out, 1 hdmi out. I have the 40 GB PS3 (used mainly for Blu Ray)with 1 hdmi out, analog a/v multi x 1, digital out optical x 1, and 2 usbs. The Direct TV reciever has 1 s-video, 1 out to TV co -axial, 2 video out (yellow), 2 audio outs (red and white), and 1 usb port. I was wondering what was the best way to hook all this up for best sound and picture and the hardware that I will need to do it?

  1. Run an S-Video cable out from the Direct TV receiver and into the television. Also run a set of audio cables out from the Direct TV receiver into the television. Then run an HDMI cable out from the PS3 and into the television. Then run another set of audio cables out from the television and into the surround sound receiver.
