  1. connect rf cables like this: "directv out "to "vcr in"  and "vcr out" to" TV in". put TV and VCR on ch 03 ....enjoy!


  2. get two cables hook the out from the direct tv box into the in label of the vcr and then hook the out of the vcr into the tv. then put your vcr in tv video mode then use your vcr remote to change the chanels.
