How do I hookup a newer DVD player to a TV and DVR?

Verizon said that some DVD players don't have the correct hookup? RCA? and that there is something I need to buy to connect them. Thanks in advance.

are you trying to connect DVD player to DVR? most new DVD players don't have the yellow-red-white connections.  they either have the s-vid, reb-green-blue or hdmi. depending on what you got set up, i'd have the dvd player and the DVR connected directly to the TV.

Seriously "WineMan" I think cuz you obviously have no clue. You should take a picture of each component (the back of it where the connections are) take that to best buy and heve them help you  out.
