How do I hookup my sony dvd player(2005model) to a RCA VCR (1999 model) and Sylvania stereo tv(1989 model) ?

I have been having nothin but troubles finding the right way to hook these up correctly and the manuals don't do me justice either that I have here!

For starters, I don't have the TV's main controller as I can't get deep into the system for it (input, ect..) but I do have the other controllers for the rest of the componants! As I also am using a universal too! I just cant seem to setup the audio/video cables to their respective places to get audio and video through my tv here! If someone would be so kind to give me a detailed description on how to hookup these cables I would be abliged so much and you deffinetly will get my full vote on this, thanks a bunch, Todd

ok, here we go.. from the output on the dvd.. take the cables into the line in on the vcr.. out of the vcr take rf out to the tv and bam... turn ur tv to channel 3 to watch vcr, then turn the input on ur vcr to line in to watch dvd on the tv.. simple

reply!!   i didnt figure you would have a a/v input into the tv... the way i told you would use a standard coax cable from the vcr into the tv.. this way you would turn the tv to ch 3 to watch either vcr or dvd.. since you do have an av in, simply go from the av out on the vcr to the av in on the tv...do not use the variable out on the tv.. ?'s  email is [e-mail]
