How do I host a charity event?

I want to host a charity event to raise money for cancer but I'm not sure how to go about doing it or what rules and regulations I need to follow. Can you please lead me in the right direction!

The charity you're representing should be able to provide you with details.  Or ask your personal accountant.  You can also contact your local party office.
