How do I identify Warhammer figures??

I have been given a lot of 1987 & earlier figures & am having a problem identifying which game they belong to. does anyone know of a site where i could look at a catalogue or similar for this time. The pictures of similar on ebay are mostly not clear enough for me to compare. thanks

  1. Best place to go is the Warhammer website.

    Also look in there shopping catalog. Alot of times they have pictures of older figures
