How do I identify san pedro cacti?

There are a lot of cacti that look similar to san pedro, and I would really appreciate someone saying what the characteristics of san pedro are so I don't confuse a different cactus for san pedro, or at least a link to help me identify it.

Answer ones website is a good start, but the only real way is to wait till it flowers in july. Or buy them when they flower...heres a pic link of what the blooms should look like, but remember there are three varieties...so google image all three...
