How do I improve my 1500m time.?

Right now I'm at 4:39 and I'm still not at the level I want to be at. So I'm asking and top level runner to help me.

  1. mix in some uptempo distance runs with some speed workouts with 800 or 1000 reps and some long distance days, and inbetween those throw in some easy-paced distance runs to give ur muscles a rest

  4. Well I played professional soccer in Greece so I kind of know about physical training and running, not as much as you I'm sure. What if you started wearing weights when you ran OR find someone you could run that distance at a better time. Or even better get on a treadmill where you can control the distance, speed, and time.
