  1. vocabulary. even if it only helps you get 2 more questions right than you would have on the CR sections that have it (so on both CR sections you'd get around 4 more correct), if youre going for the top scores, it will help a lot. It can be the difference between a score like a 740 and one in the upper 600s. Sometimes the curves just suck.


  2. read a lot and get a review book from barrons or princeton review. but you're only a freshman, don't worry about that until sophomore or junior year (when u take the psats, and then in jr year spring, the actual sats)
