Question:

How do I improve my handwriting?

The weird thing is that I love my cursive handwriting, but to me my print looks more like a guy's handwriting, and that's not to say that some men don't have beautiful handwriting. How do I clean up my printing?

  1. It's all in the wrist. Try to let your wrist feel natural and free. Have you ever heard of Denelian? It's a combination of cursive and straight. I learned it when it was very young and I think it influenced my writing style which is very unique. Anyone who comes in contact with it comments.

  3. first i would practice writing all the letters but take important detail -----like you did in like first grade

then when your writing, take you time and hold your pen/pencil the right way

eventually, you'll be able to write faster and neater!

    hope i helped

  4. Here's a thought, not exactly on point, but you may find it interesting.  Graphology involves analyzing a person's handwriting for clues as to their personality and "problems".

It describes for example, that if a person forms letters a certain way, or crosses Ts a certain way, or the handwriting slants a certain way, then that person is "courageous, or fearful; artistic or not, etc.

My idea would be to pick out handwriting which would be that,  of course, of a brave, kind, artistic, etc. person and then work on transforming mine to conform with the "ideal" person.  The theory being that such might alter my "consciousness" somehow in order to make permanent beneficial changes, moving me more toward that "ideal".  Kind of reverse engineering.  What do you think  ?  :))))

  5. You can write slowly and practice and it will help keep it readable.  In spite of penmanship classes when we were young, though, they've proven that good handwriting has to do with good fine motor skills in the hands, and that's something you have or don't have...like the ability to draw well.  You can improve the fine motor skills a little, I think, with exercises (look that up.  I really don't know how.)

  6. Practice & practice....

  7. To Improve your writing you should write more.  Like you did when you were in school.  It helps you get used to it.  Second of all when you write take your time.  Don't rush or else it will look bad.  And if nothing works then just work with the handwriting you have.  If somebody has a problem with it then tell them that they can write for you.  As long as it is pretty much readable do it.  Or just write in cursive.

  8. I pick a style I wanna write like- and practice, and try writing like it, everytime. Meaning. A lot of erasing here and there.
