How do I increase my running speed? burst speed, not long distance stuff.?

no long distance stuff just fast speed stuff for the 40 and such.

  1. Run lots of short intervals. Multiple (10+) 100/200 meter repetitions at nearly 100%. Make sure to compliment interval training days with easier rest days, as well.


  2. u should sprint long sprints. There are 3 types of sprints: Short sprints, medium long sprints, and long sprints, so do all three and practice consistently and you'll improve
