I have sponges in the water bowls, mist daily, have a humidifier, and have moist sand. However my humidity seems to hover between 60 and 63 at all times.

  1. Place a wet cloth over the top of the tank instead of the glass lid. It should keep the air moist. Also, consider where in the world you live, and where in your home the tank has been placed. If you live in a hot or humid country it will be easier to generate humidity. If the tank is placed in direct sunlight the water could evaporate quicker. Try putting the tank in a sunny room, but not too bright.

  2. it might be too much ventalation do u have a screen/mesh top if so try covering half it with something

  3. I don't know much about crabs but when I need more humidity for my snake I put the water bowl closer under the heat source and that usually brings it up pretty good and also cover the top on your tank, if it is wire top cover as much as you can with cardboard or all and put small holes in the card board for air.
