How do I install Ram into my laptop w/o taking the screws off my laptop?

What I'm saying is: Does Ram comes in CD and just insert the CD in my drive and install it? Or that has not invented yet and I'm sounding very stupid!

Does Ram only comes in chips?

Yep - RAM comes in physical chips that you have to install.  Vista has something (with the word 'boost' in it) that will use a USB key as RAM, but so what?  A couple of screws, plug in the chip, put the screws back.  Balla bing, balla boom.
