How do I install SP 3:?

It downloads OK but fails to install

You can keep on trying to install it, perhaps you succeed at the end.

When you would have decided not to install sp3, your computer would have run the same and sometimes even better.  We do not need SP3 for anything, like we needed sp2 after microsoft stopped supporting SP!. We we forced to install sp2, because it was the only way to get the necessary updates.  SP3 is mainly a collection of all the updates on your computer.

So in case you do not succeed to install sp3 there is no reason for panic.

Just be happy with SP2. Thats all we need
