Question:

How do I install TalkTalk onto my new Vista laptop, as the Connect and Go CD is not compatable with Vista?

I've recently bought a new laptop with Windows Vista.

I currently have a PC with Windows XP which is connected to TalkTalk, I also have another laptop that is also Windows XP that I've connected to TalkTalk wirelessly with the Connect and Go CD provided with the router.

Unfortunately, the Connect and Go CD is not compatable with Windows Vista.

Anyone have any ideas how I can sort this problem out?

  1. you don't really need an install cd to use talktalk just plug the pc into the router

Also as Vista has been out for 18 months now I am sure that talktalk will have an updated cd that works with vista by now

  2. I would guess that the provider would have come out with software for Vista since technically XP is no longer going to be supported by Microsoft soon.

If this is the website, I would suggest checking out their support page.http://www.talktalk.co.uk/talktalk/servl...

  3. Windows vista is not compatable with most  companies . Talk Talk should work if not just call them
